Action stations of the Basic Experience Lesson in Mainz:
 The students experience
 the preparation of the typical “Meenzer cheese”.
 A visit to the Maritime Museum begins with a short film. During this time, wooden pieces are experienced tactilely. This is followed by an analogue experience. A foam rubber boat is built, which speeds across the water under its own power.
 A visit to Mainz Cathedral, with a short film. During the film, they take turns ringing the bell. Afterwards, they dress up and are crowned king or queen.
